For larger or more complex setups—such as tubs with hydrotherapy jets, custom dimensions, or enhanced accessibility—there may be additional installation costs like drain relocation, door widening, or electrical upgrades. We’ve broken down those potential add-ons below to help you plan ahead. When you work with us, you’ll get a full-service experience: from demo to install to final cleanup, all handled by licensed professionals.

Aptly named after Arizona's largest desert, the Sonoran series encompasses the largest and deepest walk- in tubs American Tubs has to offer. These are excellent choices for larger frames, such as those with fuller figures and individuals who are well over 6 feet tall. Our standard walk-in tub installation package is designed to be stress-free and all-inclusive. When you purchase through Waterman Fine Plumbing, we handle everything for you:
- Product Delivery: We personally deliver your tub and materials—no shipping hassles.
- Site Protection: Floors, walls, and walkways are fully protected during construction.
- Tear-Out & Debris Disposal: We remove your old tub or shower and haul away all debris.
- Plumbing Prep & Fixture Reinstall: We prep water lines and move/reinstall fixtures like toilets and vanities if needed.
- Professional Installation: We expertly connect your tub to existing plumbing and electrical systems.
- Wall Repairs & Finishing Touches: We repair drywall, add a decorative tile strip, and install a 12" cultured marble backsplash.
- Safety Features: Two heavy-duty grab bars are installed for added security.

While most walk-in tubs can be installed without major changes, certain configurations—especially jetted tubs or oversized models—may require extra work. These add-ons are only necessary if your space or tub setup calls for them:

Optional Upgrades

Both Ella’s Bubbles and American Tubs have a wide variety of optional accessories for their tubs, beyond just the systems. Common accessories included heated seats, aromatherapy models, and waterproof tub pillows. When it comes to the install side of things, there are a variety of areas where we can provide upgrades, such specialty faucets/shower heads, additional grab bars, specialized cultured marble and TrueStone surrounds for your tub space. During your sales consultation, we’ll go over these options together with you at your leisure. These upgrades are purely optional, so we offer them but never pressure them.
